The "old friend" of the "Diablo" series, Archangel Tyrrell, is an important character in the main story of Diablo: Immortal, and one of the key characters in the three works. In the contemporaries of the "Diablo 2" background, Barr ascended mount Arait and polluted the World Stone that guarded the sanctuary, although it was eventually defeated in "Diablo 2", but the contaminated World Stone became a "time bomb", and Tyrell helplessly cut it into pieces and scattered everywhere, and a new adventure began.
Players' adventures in the Sanctuary begin five years after the World Stone broke.
