Moreover, Princess Guantao was treated extremely highly during her lifetime, while Princess Daihou had almost none, not even a title. The title of the "Marquis of Daihou" of this Princess Daihou was also the title of the husband she married. They are also the daughters of the emperor, why is this difference so great?

On this issue, we must first say that Princess Guantao was the biological daughter of Emperor Wen of Han and Empress Dou, and was concubine; Princess Daihou was Shu chu, and who her birth mother was is no record in history. In ancient times, the question of concubines was very important. It is also understandable that the treatment of the concubine is very different from the treatment of the concubine.
In addition to the problem of concubines, the reason why Princess Guantao received special preferential treatment was that she was unanimously favored by three generations of emperors.
As the concubine daughter of Emperor Wen of Han and Empress Dou, although there is no historical record of her receiving the favor of her parents. However, it can be seen from the fact that she has obtained her own independent title early on, and the favor she has received is certainly not small.
After Emperor Jing of Han became emperor, Princess Guantao once again gained favor. The reason is that not only because he is the sister of Emperor Jingdi of Han, but also because she knows the taste of her brother very well, and has repeatedly given beautiful women to her brother Emperor Jingdi. Because of her meritorious dedication to beautiful women, Princess Guantao received a great reward and also had the right to speak in the DPRK.
This incident directly caused the dissatisfaction of Li Ji, the favorite concubine of the Han Jing Emperor. However, in the end, Emperor Jing of Han punished Li Ji and deposed Li Ji's son Liu Rong as crown prince, satisfying Princess Guantao's request.
Princess Guantao not only won the favor of Emperor Wen of Han and Emperor Jing of Han, she also received the favor of her nephew Emperor Wu of Han. The reason is simple, because Emperor Wu of Han replaced Liu Rong's position as crown prince under her strong recommendation and finally became emperor. Princess Guantao had such a great favor to Emperor Wu of Han, so it was normal for her to be favored.

Princess Guantao not only won the favor of three generations of emperors, but also actively participated in the country's major events. It is also because she is involved in major national affairs that she is clearly recorded by history.
There were two main historical events in which Princess Guantao participated: First, because of her actions, the crown prince of the Han Jing Emperor was changed from Liu Rong to Liu Che. Liu Che later became Emperor Wu of Han, and at the same time, because of Emperor Wu of Han's actions of "deposing hundreds of families and respecting Confucianism alone" and "opening up the territory and conquering the western regions", it had a profound impact on the formation of Han culture and the laying down of China's basic territory. Second, because Princess Guantao believed that she had merit in Emperor Wu of Han's access to the throne, she repeatedly asked Emperor Wu of Han for favors, coupled with the jealousy of Chen Ajiao, who was the empress, so in the end, Emperor Wudi of Han hated Princess Guantao and deposed Chen Ajiao's empress and replaced her with Wei Zifu. At the same time, because Wei Zifu became empress, Wei Qing and Huo Went ill became far-reaching figures in Chinese history.

Princess Daihou, unlike Princess Guantao, did not receive a fief from Emperor Wen of Han.
Not only did she not gain the favor of Emperor Wen of Han, but she later offended Emperor Wen of Han. What's going on?
Princess Daihou married Zhou Shengzhi, the eldest son of Zhou Bo. It can be seen that this is a political marriage. Because Zhou Bo had meritorious support for Emperor Wen of Han, as a special favor, Emperor Wen of Han married his daughter to Zhou Bo's son.
However, from the very beginning, Emperor Wen of Han had mixed feelings for Zhou Bo. He was indeed grateful for Zhou Bo's support for him, but at the same time he was jealous of Zhou Bo, afraid that Zhou Bo would be proud of his achievements and arrogant, so he repeatedly hit Zhou Bo and even tried to kill him.

Once, when Emperor Wendi of Han's emissaries saw Zhou Bo, Zhou Bo put on his armor, so Emperor Wendi of Han said that Zhou Bo wanted to rebel, arrested him, and let Ting Wei torture him. In the end, the jailer quietly told Zhou Bo to ask him to ask the princess for help. The princess here is also the princess of The Princess.
This matter finally let Empress Bo know, Empress Bo found Emperor Wen of Han, threw a turban on Emperor Han Wen's head, and said, Zhou Bo did not rebel when he had heavy troops, and now he is living in a small county, but you say that he rebelled, what did he use to rebel?
In this way, Emperor Wen of Han had to release Zhou Bo.
However, this incident has actually shown that Princess Daihou has offended Emperor Wen of Han. If she hadn't told her grandmother Empress Bo about this, maybe Emperor Wen of Han would have solved Zhou Bo's big problem.
Since Princess Daihou had offended Emperor Wen of Han, how could she still be loved by Emperor Wen of Han? Later, after Zhou Bo's death, Zhou Shengzhi attacked the title of Marquis of Fengdi. But soon, because Zhou Shengzhi killed someone, the title was stripped away. In fact, even if Zhou Shengzhi killed someone, if Princess Daihou and Emperor Wen of Han had a good relationship, this title would definitely be preserved, after all, he was the son-in-law of Emperor Wen of Han!
Since then, there has been no record of Princess Daihou, not even the time of death. Come to think of it, it is quite unappreciated.
