Others, such as Xu Xuan, who surrendered to the Song Dynasty after the fall of the Southern Tang Dynasty, Zhang Rou, who was originally a Jin general and surrendered to Mongolia, Liu Zhen, who was originally a Song general and surrendered to the Yuan, and so on, all of them have established meritorious deeds, and history has good comments, but they have all been denounced by Qianlong as "the great festival has been destroyed, and he has no more than enough teeth for mankind" and other fierce criticisms.
In addition, people like Yang Biao of the Han Dynasty and Wang Xiang, who was famous for filial piety during the Wei and Jin dynasties, were accused by Qianlong for the Zeng dynasty and the two dynasties; they attacked Qianlong for the Yan infants who the monarch had evaded when he was killed, and qianlong who sought excuses for the death of the country and used the immortal Yuan Haowen and Wei Su.
