"Our investors and customers have asked Intel if it purchases products or services from The Xinjiang region of China. Governments in many countries and regions have imposed restrictions on products from the Xinjiang region. Therefore, Intel needs to ensure that our supply chain does not use any labor, procurement products or services from the Xinjiang region. ”
The letter, published in December, is Intel's latest requirement for suppliers to prohibit any form of human trafficking or involuntary labor, such as forced labor, debt labor, indentured labor, or slavery.
Although China has publicly stressed many times that the so-called existence of "forced labor" in Xinjiang is a complete lie, some Western politicians, especially US politicians, clamor for so-called "forced labor", which is in essence political manipulation under the guise of human rights, interfering in China's internal affairs, and curbing and suppressing the development of China, especially Xinjiang. But the American company Intel still favors Western politicians.
As early as July this year, some US politicians used the Xinjiang issue to force Five US companies such as Airbnb, Coca-Cola, Intel, Procter & Gamble and Visa to take a stand, but only Intel executives claimed to believe in the US government's conclusions: "I have studied it, so I believe the conclusions of this report." ”
Wang Junkai terminated all cooperation with Intel

China is the largest source of revenue
The reporter's inquiry found that since 2015, China has become Intel's largest source of revenue for 6 consecutive years.
In 2020, the company's revenue from Chinese mainland (including Hong Kong) was US$20.26 billion (about 129.09 billion yuan), and the second largest source of revenue was Singapore, with revenue of US$17.85 billion.
