When the title was awarded in 1955, Shandong had no generals, and in 1988, Shandong accounted for a quarter

As we all know, Shandong is an old revolutionary area, and countless heroes who can sing and cry have emerged, but when the title was awarded in 1955, there were very few founding generals in Shandong, no marshals, generals, and generals, only 3 lieutenant generals, and only 22 major generals, which could not be compared with those provinces in the south.

However, by the time the title was awarded for the second time in 1988, the Shandong people were very eye-catching, and of the total of 17 generals, the Shandong people accounted for 4 places: Chi Haotian, Liu Zhenhua, Li Yaowen, and Wang Hai, accounting for nearly a quarter.

Today, let's introduce the stories of General Li Yaowen.

When the title was awarded in 1955, Shandong had no generals, and in 1988, Shandong accounted for a quarter

Born in Rongcheng, Shandong in 1918, Li Yaowen organized and led an armed uprising at the end of 1937, led his troops to join the Eighth Route Army, and began his career in the War of Resistance.

Looking at Li Yaowen's revolutionary career, it can be said that he was both wise and courageous, and he once "outwitted Li Wenli" and "bravely captured Duan Maolin", showing the wisdom and bravery of Shandong people.

In June 1945, before the End of the War of Resistance, the Luzhong Military Region decided to launch a campaign against the Kuomintang diehard Li Wenli.

Although Li Wenli's unit was named "Ludong Peace and Nation-Building Army", it was not a human affair, and in order to ask for merit from old Chiang Kai-shek, instead of fighting the Japanese Kou, he continued to attack the Eighth Route Army, and the Eighth Route Army decided to give him a bitter taste.

After receiving the order, Li Yaowen set his eyes on Daxingzhuang. Han Shouchen's 10th Regiment was stationed in Daxingzhuang, although it was Li Wenli's troops, But Han Shouchen was still a decent person, and he was very unaccustomed to what Li Wenli was doing, and he was also very resistant to fighting the Eighth Route Army this time.

Li Yaowen felt that Han Shouchen could win over, so he decided to personally go to Daxingzhuang and go to the meeting with a single knife.

In the evening, Li Yaowen appeared in Daxingzhuang, and Han Shouchen felt incredible, and quickly shook his hand and said, "Commissar Li, I have long looked up to the great name!" ”

Li Yaowen also said straight to the point: "Commander Han, we Ming people don't say secret words, if you can revolt, then it will be a great luck for the situation in Shandong in the future!" ”

Han Shouchen thought for a long time and said, "Political Commissar Li, what Li Wenli has done, I have long been unaccustomed to it, I really don't want to hide it, Han Someone already has the heart to revolt, but there is no good opportunity, today Commissar Li's heartfelt words, Han Someone decided to revolt!" ”

Three days later, the battle broke out, and what Li Wenli couldn't understand was that Han Shouchen of Daxingzhuang didn't move at all, until the end of the battle, Li Wenli didn't know the origin of the matter, but it was too late!

In this battle, our army annihilated more than 4,000 enemy troops, so that Li Wenli no longer dared to easily provoke the Eighth Route Army.

In September 1947, the East China Field Army launched the famous Battle of Sand Andiji, one of the goals of which was to encircle and annihilate the 57th Division of the Kuomintang Army's ace reorganization, and the division commander was the famous Huangpu general Duan Linmao.

Li Yaowen was then the political commissar of the 8th Column and 23rd Division, and in order to boost everyone's morale, he specially organized a meeting of the officers and men of the whole division and said: "This time our division can receive a big task, fight the 57th Division, this is the ace unit of the Kuomintang!" Eat him, and our division will become an ace division! Comrades, do you have the confidence to eat them! ”

The warriors were full of morale and replied in unison: "Have faith!" ”

In order to ensure the successful completion of the battle, Hua Ye threw in 3 columns, with the 23rd Division as the forward.

From September 1 to September 9, for nine full days, Li Yaowen only rested for more than ten hours, and the rest of the time was in command of the operation. When the campaign reached the stage of general offensive, Li Yaowen also specially instructed the combat troops: "You must remember, you must capture Duan Linmao alive!" ”

Throughout the night, the sound of gunfire was more fierce than ever, Li Yaowen waited anxiously at the front of the position, and at 6 o'clock in the morning of the 9th, Li Yaowen finally waited for good news: Duan Linmao was caught!

Li Yaowen said excitedly, "The warriors are all good!" Let the cooking class make something delicious and treat them well! ”

When Li Yaowen went to see Duan Linmao, Duan Linmao still had a look of disbelief on his face and said contemptuously: "You are just lucky, don't be too happy too soon, you will look good in the future!" ”

Li Yaowen smiled lightly and said, "Who wins and who loses, let's wait and see!" Commander Duan, I have to remind you that there is no luck on the battlefield, and without the heroic battles of our soldiers and commanders and fighters, there would be no victory! ”

In 1955, Lee was awarded the rank of rear admiral and in 1988 as admiral, then political commissar of the Navy.

On April 10, 2018, General Li Yaowen died of illness at the age of 100.
