Overall, the proportion of long-term stable migrant workers is relatively high, and the high-quality employment population remains stable. In terms of the structure of the industry, in the third quarter, the proportion of Rural Labor force in Qinghai going out to engage in primary, secondary and tertiary industries was 6.3%, 32.4% and 61.3% respectively, and more and more migrant workers achieved employment in the tertiary industry.

"Judging from the survey, the aging trend of migrant workers has emerged, the proportion of migrant workers over the age of 50 has increased year by year, and older migrant workers are facing difficulties in working and returning to their hometowns; at the same time, with the reduction of the scale of labor in labor-intensive industries, the low quality of migrant workers themselves has led to employment restrictions, few opportunities, poor stability, and high unemployment risks, and the signing rate of migrant workers' labor contracts and social insurance participation rates is still low, and the problem of wage arrears still exists." The head of the Household Monitoring Office of the Qinghai Survey Corps of the National Bureau of Statistics analyzed it.

The person in charge of the Household Monitoring Department of the Qinghai Investigation Corps of the National Bureau of Statistics said that in response to the above survey, it is recommended that relevant departments focus on the employment of elderly migrant workers, actively dock public resources, and establish a platform to broaden employment channels; at the same time, continue to promote vocational skills training with the times, further improve the pertinence of training, promote the high-quality employment and income of migrant workers with skill upgrading, take multiple measures at the same time, and make precise efforts to continue to promote the participation of migrant workers and continue to eradicate the problem of wage arrears.
