To this end, 12-year-old Tian Jiyun had to leave his hometown, arranged by the organization, and secretly escorted by underground traffic officers to the First Military Subdistrict of the Eighth Route Army to join the Eighth Route Army, and since then he has become a small Eighth Road. Afterwards, Tian Jiyun fondly recalled: The reason why our revolutionary cause was victorious was precisely rooted in the broad masses of the people, and although we became high-ranking cadres, we must never forget that we are the sons of the people.
Just in the year of victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan, Tian Jiyun gloriously joined the party with excellent performance, and since then he has always strictly demanded his words and deeds with the high standards of party members, and he is still participating in combat work while studying, and with the outbreak of the civil war, during the Huaihai Campaign, 19-year-old Tian Jiyun finally went to the dream front line and was appointed as the deputy battalion commander of the stretcher battalion of the field army.
