Semsor Tower store intelligence data shows that from January 1 to December 14, 2021, 8 mobile games have exceeded $1 billion in global revenue on the App Store and Google Play Store. Among them, Tencent's "PUBG Mobile" and "Glory of kings" ranked in the top two of the list, with revenue of $2.8 billion so far in 2021, up 9% and 14% respectively compared with last year.

According to Sensor Tower, Original God ranked third in this year's global mobile game revenue list, with revenue of about $1.8 billion. Since its release in September 2020, the open-world RPG game has generated $2.4 billion in cumulative revenue on mobile platforms alone.

Social sandbox gaming platform Roblox ranked fourth on the list with $1.3 billion in annual revenue, up 20.3% year-over-year. Israeli studio Moon Active's Coin Master ranked fifth with $1.3 billion in revenue, up 13.8 percent from last year.

In addition, Niantic's AR mobile game "Pokémon Go" ($1.2 billion), King's match-3 mobile game "Candy Legend" ($1.2 billion) and Garena's tactical competitive mobile game "Free Fire" also have more than $1 billion in revenue in 2021.

Sensor Tower pointed out that in 2020, a total of 5 mobile games will exceed $1 billion in global annual revenue in the App Store and Google Play Store. And this year, in addition to the eight games mentioned above, Cygames' Uma Musume Pretty Derby is likely to have more than $1 billion in revenue by the end of the year. Although "Horse Racing Lady", which was launched in February, has only landed in the Japanese market so far, by December 14, the game's revenue in the App Store and Google Play Store has reached $965 million.

Overall, Sensor Tower expects the global mobile gaming market to reach $89.6 billion in total revenue in 2021.
