A few days ago, Yilu Youche learned from relevant channels that Changan UNI-V will officially open pre-sale on January 10, 2022, and officially list in the first quarter of next year. The new car is the first sedan in the UNI series, focusing on the four-door sports coupe market, with an electric lifting tail, which some netizens call "Little Audi A7".
In terms of appearance, the front face of Changan UNI-V adopts the iconic borderless design of the UNI family, the forward grille shape is dynamic, and is embellished by a large number of quadrilateral, triangular and trapezoidal elements, and the two sides are also specially designed with oversized air vents, with sharp and narrow headlights, making the entire front face look layered and very aggressive. In addition, there is a high-definition camera embedded in the center of the grille, which further enhances the technological sense of the new car.
Coming to the side, the waistline of the new car extends from the front of the car to the rear of the car, and adopts the Fastback slipback design, and the overall shape is extremely smooth and dynamic.
The most noteworthy thing about the tail is that the new car is equipped with the first electric lifting tail wing of the domestic independent brand model, which can be automatically lifted and lowered with speed, and can also be manually controlled by the "SUPER RACE" mode/touch button, which can provide a maximum of 25kg downforce and reduce the wind resistance coefficient of 0.007.
In the interior part, the new car adopts a family design, the overall layout is basically the same as UNI-K, equipped with curved LCD instruments, suspended central control screens and dual flat-bottom multi-function steering wheels. In terms of intelligent configuration, in addition to supporting general functions such as online navigation, online video and audio, voice interaction, and OTA upgrade, the new car also adds gesture control and FACE ID face brushing functions. As a sports sedan, the Changan UNI-V offers paddle shifters, electronic gear levers similar to fighter pushers, and a variety of driving modes.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4680mm/1838mm/1430mm, and a wheelbase of up to 2750mm. It is worth mentioning that the new car has a height to width ratio of 0.78, axle length ratio of 0.59, a lower aspect ratio and a higher axle length ratio of the same level, so that the vehicle shows a low lying posture, which will have better stability and handling.
In terms of power, Changan UNI-V first launched a 1.5T version in the early stage, with a maximum power of 138kW (188 horsepower) and a peak torque of 300N·m, matching a 7-stop wet-block dual-clutch transmission, and is expected to launch a 2.0T and PHEV plug-in hybrid version in the future.
