Twitch anchor EveeA claimed his expectations for Overwatch were "very high," while ML7, who is also a Twitch anchor, said his confidence in Overwatch's future has been restored. Whatever the developers showed, they seemed to impress the most negative content creators in the game. Former pro Samito said he felt optimistic for the first time in a long time. KarQ, the content creator for the Overwatch League Dorado Defenders, was on the trip at the time, but he paid for the airline's WIFI usage fees and attended the event remotely, after which he said it was worth it.
The reaction to content creators seeing more news of Overwatch 2 was low-key optimism and outspoken skepticism. Some fans claim that Blizzard bribed these content creators to spread optimism in the community.
