IDC's Q3 2021 Global Wearables Market Report shows that global shipments of such devices increased 9.9% year-over-year to 138.4 million units during the quarter. Among them, the shipment of headphone products (including TWS true wireless headphones) increased by 26.5%.
IT Home learned that Apple is far ahead in wearables shipments, and although Apple Watch shipments fell by 35.5%, it still ranks first overall. In the third quarter of 2021, Apple shipped 39.8 million wearable devices, accounting for 28.8% of the market, thanks to the hot sales of the AirPods series of true wireless headphones.
