Guangzhou city added 1 new case of overseas imported related cases

On 17 December, one imported-related case was found in the testing of close contacts of imported cases that had been included in centralized isolation. The relevant information circular is as follows:

Hu Mou, female, 41 years old, a company employee, is the daughter of Tang Mou, an imported case related to overseas on December 16, and lives with her mother at No. 65, Tiansheng Village, Huale Street, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. As a key person living in the same building of the confirmed case of returning to the outside city imported from abroad on December 13, he was transferred to a centralized isolation place for medical observation on December 13. The nucleic acid test results on December 13, 14, 15 and 16 were negative. On the evening of December 17, the nucleic acid test was initially positive, and in the early morning of the 18th, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention reviewed positive, that is, it was transferred to the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University for isolation and medical observation. After further examination and expert consultation, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild).

The case has been centralized isolation and control 4 days before the onset of illness, and the environmental sampling test results of the living and activity sites involved are negative, and the risk of community transmission is assessed by experts to be low.
