On September 16, 1859 (the ninth year of Xianfeng), Yuan Shikai was born in Yuanzhai, Wangmingkou Town, Xiangcheng City, Henan Province, into a large family of officials and eunuchs for generations, and his father and grandfather were mostly Qing Dynasty dignitaries and had a strong side.

Here, according to the eight characters after Yuan Shikai's birth:
Dry manufacturing: 己未, 癸酉, 丁巳, 丁未;
Great Luck: Nongshen, Xin Wei, Gengwu, Jiwei, Pengchen, Ding.
In this regard, xu Lewu, a numerologist of the Republic of China, analyzed: "This Yuan Xiangcheng fate to create also, the first look, the body of the strong eating god to control the brakes, the detailed debate, to the year as the mainstay, the life of the undead, not the unitary Sandwich Shen, for the precious; with the day as the mainstay, Ding Gui in the unitary, with the use of the fire, the fire is in the mi, the body is exchanged for the expensive." The gods of the seven enemies were known to the Qing court, and the Qing court was also affected by the sign of its overpricing. The earth branch is not unitary and expensive, and the whole lugui supports it, and it is advisable to be the head of state. To the luck of the enemy, the enemy of the brakes, the advent of the noble, and the charge itself, the rebellion of the people, the most obvious. ”
But it is such a person who "eats the god to kill and kill for the purpose of killing", since he was a child, Yuan Shikai seems to have a special femininity. It is said that after he was born, his biological mother Liu's milk was insufficient, and it happened that his uncle's wife Niu Shi had just finished giving birth to a child, and the child unfortunately died early, but Niu's milk was very sufficient, and Yuan Shikai was breastfed by Niu Shi. At the age of 5, he was officially adopted as a son by his uncle Yuan Baoqing and was favored by the Niu clan.
It is recorded that When he was a child, Yuan Shikai was both naughty and intelligent, and he could also calm the quarrel between the Niu and Wang clans. Therefore, the Niu clan, the Wang clan, and a Chen clan all like him. The Mother Niu clan also had two daughters, namely Yuan Shikai's two older sisters. In addition, the Chen and Wang clans have a total of three daughters, and they are the three sisters of Yuan Shikai.
Almost all books on Yuan Shikai say that Yuan Shikai was a very filial piety. During his tenure in Korea, Yuan Shikai received news that Niu had died, and he immediately asked the imperial court for leave and returned home to fulfill his filial piety. When he returned to Korea in May 1892, he took his biological mother Liu Shi with him, and until the Sino-Japanese War of 1894, Liu Shikai was raised in Korea by Yuan Shikai.
At the end of 1899, the imperial court appointed Yuan Shikai as the governor of Shandong Province, and Yuan Shikai took Liu Shi to Jinan. Two years later, Yuan Shikai's mother died of illness, and he was very sad and asked the imperial court to allow him to return to his hometown to keep filial piety for a year.
It can be said that the most criticized thing about Yuan Shikai's private life is that he married ten women.
Although Yuan Shikai was born in a mixed society of old and new, he himself was still very feudal. In Yuan Shikai's view, only a man with "three wives and four concubines" is a capable man, and wives and concubines should not quarrel with each other and be jealous. In the second year of Guangxu, the 17-year-old Yuan Shikai completed two major events in his life: he participated in the imperial examination in his hometown in Henan in the autumn and was not on the list; and he married in his hometown in Henan at the end of the year.
Here, the author adds one more point, that is: Yuan Shikai's hour is the symbol of the children's star, then, the child star, must be after marriage (in the past did not marry without children) the strength can be manifested, because the "巳" of his life style is also the marriage palace, all, Yuan Shikai's development must be after marriage. After that, we all know, after marriage, Yuan Shikai has married nine wives and 32 children, and his career will not need to be said again, and finally he became an emperor.
Here, let's focus on Yuan Shikai's woman.
It is said that Yuan Shikai's first wife was Yu Yushi, the daughter of a landlord in the countryside of Henan, who had a lot of land in her family and hung up the sign of the imperial court. Yu was born in the countryside and was not very literate. However, there is also an understanding of rules and etiquette. After marriage, their relationship is not good, nor is it bad. The following year, Yu gave birth to his first son, Yuan Keding. After having a child, the relationship between the two should heat up, however, before long, Yuan Shikai and Yu Shi turned against each other because of a joke, so their relationship became increasingly cold.
Since then, the Yu clan has become a nominal lady, and the late Qing government has crowned yu shi as a lady of the Yipin commandment.
In the 12 years in North Korea, Yuan Shikai added 3 more concubines, all of whom were Koreans. There are many opinions about the life experience of these three concubines, some people say that they were rewarded by the King of Korea when Yuan Shikai was working in Joseon. It is also said that when Yuan Shikai was hospitalized in Korea due to illness, these three concubines were three nurses of Yuan Shikai, and later, after Yuan Shikai recovered, the king of North Korea gave them to Yuan Shikai.
However, regarding the origin of Yuan Shikai's various wives, the most worth mentioning is the sixth aunt Taiye clan. Yuan Shikai sent his second son Yuan Kewen to Nanjing to do something for him. And Yuan Kewen is also a playboy, likes to play outside, often goes to fishing alleys in his leisure time, and knows Ye Shi when he comes and goes. Yuan Kewen fell in love with Ye Shi at first sight and soon made a private lifelong decision. When Yuan Kewen was leaving, Ye Shi also gave him a photo as a souvenir.
According to the rules of the Yuan family, when children return from a long distance, they will kowtow to their parents. Yuan Kewen returned to Tianjin to meet Yuan Shikai, and when he was prostrating his head according to the regulations, this photo of Ye Shi fell from his body. When Yuan Shikai saw it, he pointed to the photo on the ground and asked, "What is this?" At that time, Yuan Kewen was not yet married, and naturally did not dare to disclose his absurd behavior in front of his father.
In a hurry, he said that he was a beautiful girl who had been found for his father in the south, and now he took the picture back and asked his father for his opinion. Yuan Shikai looked at the beautiful woman in the photo and even claimed to be good. Then, he immediately summoned Fu Dianqing and asked Fu Dianqing to bring the silver to pick up people. Ye Shi and Yuan Kewen had a marriage contract, and now when she saw that the Yuan family had sent someone to pick her up, she naturally thought it was Yuan Kewen, so she immediately packed up and went north.
However, unexpectedly, on the wedding night, she found that the dancing boy she had been thinking about had become an old man with a beard! Although she complained, there was nothing she could do.
In June 1916, Yuan Shikai died of illness. Just when he was dying of breathlessness, Yu Shi began to cry. While crying, she said, "You've been bad to me all your life." You have married so many aunts and raised so many children. You die and you die, but you throw them all to me. What can I do? Yu Shi cried very sadly, and everyone looked at each other.
At that time, the children present were led by the second son, Yuan Kewen, who led everyone to kneel in front of Yu Shi and pleaded with Yu Shi to kill their mother. In the end, Yuan Keding, the only eldest son of Yuan Shikai, came forward to end this embarrassing situation. It is said that on the night of Yuan Shikai's death, the fifth aunt asked the housekeeper to move Yuan Shikai's safe to the bedroom, and even the big bell in the office refused to let go.
For the next few days, all the people in the Yuan mansion followed the etiquette and knelt beside Yuan Shikai to guard the spirit. After Yuan Shikai was buried in Huanshang Village, his wife and children were buried in Zhangde for three years. Later, several of Yuan Shikai's aunts moved with their children to the Yuan family in Dayingmen, Tianjin, where they separated. After that, the Yuan family went their separate ways and fell apart.
