International online news: On December 16, British local time, 50 days before the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the British Olympic Committee determined the list of athletes for the British figure skating team to participate in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

A total of three British figure skaters will compete at the Beijing Winter Olympics, with Natasha McKay competing in the women's figure skating and Lila Phil and Lewis Gibson competing in the ice dance competition. All three athletes represented The United Kingdom for the first time in a Winter Olympic competition.

Natasha McKay, who has won the British National Figure Skating Championships five times, is honoured to be included in the British Winter Olympic team, "Participating in the Winter Olympics has always been my dream, and now it has finally become a reality, I am very excited and honoured. ”
Ice dance duo Lila Phil and Lewis Gibson have been paired since 2016 and finished seventh in the Ice Dance Competition at the 2021 Figure Skating World Championships.
