The British women's curling team is currently in good shape, winning the gold medal at the European Curling Championships that ended last month, beating defending champions Sweden and world champion Switzerland. In the Curling Qualification Tournament for the Beijing Winter Olympics, which ended on December 20, the British women's curling team played well and won the ticket to the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Captain Muir Head said: "I am about to embark on my fourth winter Olympic journey and this time it is a new experience to compete with four young players. We will prove to the world the strength of the British women's curling team and I am proud to be able to participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics. (Zhao Xuemei)
