In the ancient poem, it is mentioned that if you come to the goose with Jun Mo shooting south, I am afraid that there will be a family letter sent to a distant person. The meaning of this sentence is that a gentleman must not shoot the wild goose flying south, because if the goose is shot to death, then the letter will not be delivered to the recipient's hand. In addition to the meaning of the letter, there are many other meanings. For example, in the eyes of archaeologists, epitaphs can also become a kind of letter, but this kind of letter is reserved for tomb robbers.

In 1981, in Xuzhou at that time, people were preparing to open the mountain to quarry, but in the process of mining, people found a structure similar to the structure of the ancient tomb at a depth of about 8 meters on the surface, so people found the Guishan ancient tomb. Soon archaeologists heard the news and rushed to Xuzhou and other places to conduct archaeological research.
Until 1985, archaeologists from the tomb in some historical relics and epitaph information comprehensive consideration, to give a more scientific verification, this tomb is likely to be the Han Dynasty period of the ancient tomb, and its owner identity is the then prince and noble - Liu Zhu's husband and wife burial tomb, so at this time the name of the Guishan Han Tomb officially landed.
In July 1992, the state organized a series of maintenance projects to protect the Guishan Han Tomb, and the first phase of the protection project was officially completed from July 1992 to June 1993, which also provided a more convenient channel for historical archaeologists to study the historical information of the Guishan Han Tomb. In fact, as early as November 1981, the Nanjing Museum and some well-known archaeologists from the country rushed to the Guishan Han Tomb to clean it up and study it.
In the end, it was found that the historical relics left to the world in the Tomb of Guishan Han were actually not very numerous. And the most important thing is that in recent years, many tomb robbers have frequently patronized the Guishan Han Tomb, so the indoor situation of the Guishan Han Tomb has been very unoptimistic. Although the total area of the tomb is more than 700 square meters, about 83 meters long from east to west, and about 33 meters long from north to south, there are very few historical relics excavated from this ancient tomb.
The most surprising thing is that in this ancient tomb, there is also an epitaph similar to a letter, which is not engraved with some of the feats of the tomb owner's life, but prays that future generations will not become tomb robbers to steal their own tombs. And the original words of the owner of the tomb in the letters are: Chu Gu Corpse King Tong Yu... The subject has been buried to serve, no gold and jade after... Looking at this book, there is also compassion for those who look at it.
The meaning of this sentence is that, future generations, although I am the king of Chu in history, don't think that my identity as the king of Chu will definitely be buried, and I am not willing to bury myself. The jade has been removed, and I don't want you to see this letter that I left for you. Even if you come to this tomb, you can only return disappointed.
Since ancient times, although the situation of tomb theft is not uncommon, the owner of the tomb can expect that his tomb will be tragically attacked, and he has also specially left an epitaph in this place to leave a letter to future generations, which really makes the experts present laugh out loud, and this is still a rare thing in ancient times. Sadly, however, some tomb robbers may not have taken an interest in studying the letter written on the epitaph.
Because in 1981, when people discovered this tomb, when archaeologists entered its cleaning and research, they found that the tomb of Guishan Han was a mess. That is to say, the tomb robbers did not pay attention to the letter on the epitaph at all, and angrily smashed the room into a mess, and finally returned disappointed.
