From 0:00 to 24:00 on December 16, there were no new locally confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infected people in Beijing; there was 1 new imported confirmed case, no new suspected cases and asymptomatic infected people.

Confirmed case: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Austria on December 12, after health screening and nucleic acid testing, the customs was sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, and the nucleic acid test result was reported as positive on December 15, and transferred to the designated hospital on December 16, and the comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests were diagnosed as confirmed cases, and the clinical classification was mild.

Epidemiological investigations have been carried out on confirmed cases and control measures have been implemented as required.
