The new car has an extremely rich ultra-luxurious feature configuration, including active air suspension and rear wheel steering technology, living up to the flagship name. It is reported that the new car will be officially launched next year.
The GenisesYS G90 released its interior exterior early on, with high-spec materials such as leather, metal, wood grain, glass and forged carbon fiber, which are top-notch in terms of fashion and luxury. In addition, the new car also provides a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument and a 12.3-inch central control screen, plus an LCD air conditioning panel, and the sense of technology is not bad.
The new car will offer a 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with pop-up tweeters. The model will also have two panoramic sunroofs with mood lights and can be individually controlled. In addition, the G90 is the first time that Genesis has been equipped with a fragrance system. The car can accommodate two cartridges at the same time, and the type and intensity of the scent can be controlled by the infotainment system.
There are 10 air chambers on the front seat backrests and two air chambers on the cushions. The chair offers four types of massages: full body, waist, pelvis and upper body, with three options for massage time and intensity.
As an executive-class sedan, the rear seats of the new car will naturally not disappoint, especially the boss seat on the right. Not only do the rear seats provide heating and ventilation, but the right side is also designed with foot pedals. In addition, rear passengers can use the 8-inch touchscreen to adjust the seats, air conditioning, curtains and lighting system.
The new car offers an active electronically controlled suspension that uses a front-facing camera to identify and predict road conditions, while the multi-chamber air suspension has three settings that will raise the chassis by nearly 25mm. The air suspension also uses sensors to detect when the car is on a slope. When this happens, the front wheels are raised to help prevent damage to the suspension.
It is also worth mentioning that the new car also offers a rear wheel steering system, which can make the rear wheels rotate up to 4 degrees at low speeds, such as when parking. At higher speeds, the rear wheels can only turn 2 degrees. Genises says the system improves agility and cornering stability, while also giving new cars a turning radius no less than mid-size cars.
In terms of dynamics, the model also has an adjustable braking system that allows the driver to choose between three different modes. One of these modes is called "Driver Mode," which helps provide softer and more comfortable braking performance.
The Geniseys G90 will be equipped with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and will be supplied with a four-wheel drive system. The engine has a maximum power of 380Ps (280 kW) and a peak torque of 530 N·m.
