The current generation of Mercedes-Benz GLE came out in 2020, and the model will be updated with a mid-term redesign. The test car continued to be camouflaged on the front and rear trim panels, with the rest exposed and not particularly significant changes overall.
Camouflage seemed to hide a new front bumper, improved headlights, and a new grille. It is unclear how much the headlights will change, but if there is, a new interior cavity will be basically adopted, and the tail changes are equally subtle, with a camouflage covering the taillights and most of the rear hatches also covered. In terms of power, Mercedes-Benz has not given specific information at present, but it is likely to continue the powertrain of the current model, but it may be adjusted for thermal efficiency and emissions, which means that GLE will provide a variety of output and configurations of turbocharged 2.0-liter, hybrid inline six-cylinder engine and twin-turbo V8 engine.
