Although the act of disturbing the undead is both dangerous and despised, this kind of work of "opening and eating for three years" has always made people flock to it, because the huge benefits obtained by tomb robbery are too tempting for people who want to smoke their hearts.

It is precisely because tomb robbers are rampant that China's archaeological work is not carried out satisfactorily, and even a large part of it is carrying out rescue excavations. From ancient times to the present, the more tomb robbers patronize the tombs of the most honorable people, and countless high-value funerary items in the tombs will fall into the hands of tomb robbers.
However, because the tomb robbery itself is an illegal act, coupled with the existence of certain dangers in the tomb, so the tomb robbers usually bring out some high-value, easy to carry and easy to sell items, some inconvenient to carry, not easy to save at the same time selling things that are not convenient, they usually do not take out.
About thirty or forty years ago, an ancient tomb was found in a village in Taiyuan, Shanxi. When the tomb was first discovered, experts were very excited, because the size of the tomb is extraordinary, if it can be successfully excavated, it will be able to obtain many valuable and researchable cultural relics.
Of course, the experts were not happy for long, because then they found that this tomb had long been patronized by the tomb robbers, and the surrounding robbery caves were ancient and modern, so it can be seen that this ancient tomb has been patronized by many batches of tomb robbers, and how many things are left can be imagined.
Although some disappointment, but the experts still applied to the above for excavation, after all, even if there is no precious funerary object, it is good to be able to dig out relevant texts and materials, at least it can help the study of history during that period. After excavation, through the epitaph, experts also learned the true identity of the tomb owner, who was the nephew of Lou Zhaojun, the empress dowager of Northern Qi Gaohuan, who was later named Lou Rui of Dong'an County.
Lou Rui was born as a foreign relative, followed his uncle Gao Huan to start a military campaign, and also made great military achievements, after the establishment of Northern Qi, he was also repeatedly promoted, and also crowned the throne, but Lou Rui was greedy, embezzled a lot of ill-gotten wealth during his tenure, and was also sexually indiscriminate, and the history books evaluated him as relying on the identity of a foreign relative to ascend to the throne, and there was no special talent.
Such a person who was honorable and greedy for money before his death, the funerary goods after death are naturally not rare, of course, after the ancient tomb was excavated, no too precious treasure was found, but although there was no such property, experts found the same sensational Chinese cultural relics, that is, the murals in Lou Rui's tomb.
The murals in Lou Rui's tomb are not only very exquisite and realistic in themselves, but also perfectly show the level of development of Northern Qi painting. The murals depict in detail the extravagant aristocratic life of the king of the county, providing important information for historical researchers to study the music, costumes, and etiquette of Northern Qi.
Due to the particularity of the murals, although the tomb has been visited many times, it is still very well preserved, which also makes the experts very surprised. In the end, the mural was carefully transported by experts to a museum in Shanxi, and was listed as one of the national treasures that could not be exported, and its preciousness can naturally be imagined.
