Geely's 7-nanometer chip "Dragon Eagle One" will be on the car at the end of 2022

【EV Vision Report】On December 10, Geely announced the official launch of China's first 7nm process vehicle-grade SOC chip "Dragon Eagle One" by its subsidiary, Core Engine Technology. In the third quarter of 2022, the "Dragon Eagle One" will achieve mass production and be put into mass production before the end of the year, and the first model will be Geely's main model.

According to reports, "Dragon Eagle One" uses 8 CPU cores, 14 core GPUs and 8 TOPS INT8 "NPU", programmable convolutional neural network engine.

On October 20, 2020, Core Engine Technology was officially unveiled in Wuhan, jointly funded by Geely Holding Group's strategic investment of Yijiatong Technology and Arm China, focusing on the research and development, manufacturing and sales of high-performance vehicle-grade integrated circuits and modules. In October 2021, the first domestic vehicle-grade 7nm intelligent cockpit chip Dragon Eagle No. 1 independently designed by Core Qing Technology successfully streamed it.

EGACOM, Core Engine Technology, Desay SV, Neusoft, Zhaopin Technology and several other enterprises will jointly create a high-end digital cockpit platform around the Dragon Eagle No. 1 intelligent cockpit chip (hereinafter referred to as "Dragon Eagle No. 1") and the ECARX Automotive Service Core universal operating system-level software framework (hereinafter referred to as "EAS Core") to jointly build a cockpit industry ecology.
