Now, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that the controversial wiper blade found in Cyberruck's new alpha prototype won't appear in the production version of the all-electric pickup. As you can see from the large number of truck videos, it is clear that Tesla is trying to make some updates to the vehicle design. Includes a huge curved windshield, some removable side-view mirrors and a very large single wiper blade. Musk said Cybertruck's wipers are actually what bothers him the most.

Musk noted that a collapsible wiper that can be stowed in a suitcase is ideal, but such a solution is complicated. Interestingly, Tesla actually owns a patent for this wiper system, which the company calls an "electromagnetic windshield wiper system." The design requires a linear actuator that may include a rail and an electromagnetic moving block. As Musk says, the system is modular, easy to install, and can be hidden in a suitcase. However, creating such a system is really challenging.
But Musk confirmed that the giant wipers found in the new alpha prototype won't appear in the production version of Cyberteruck, even if such wipers can work on all-electric pickup trucks. As for what Cyberteruck's production wiper will be, it's unclear.
While Cybertruck initially appeared to have been designed for simplicity, Musk's recent announcement about an all-electric pickup truck suggests the vehicle will be a showcase of Tesla's technology. During the Wall Street Journal's CEO Council Summit, Musk noted that Cybertruck would be incredible, and that it could well be Tesla's "best product ever." "Cybertruck will be an incredible product.
