On December 10, BMW officially announced the domestic pre-price of two new models of bmw motorcycle R18 series, namely the new R18 Bagger price of 365,000 yuan and the new R18 Transcontinental price of 425,000 yuan.
Two new cars in the BMW R18 series are positioned as station wagons with dimensions of 2440 mm, wheelbase of 1731 mm and a seat height of 690 mm. The seats are made of leather leather, which is soft and comfortable to the touch and equipped with heating function. The rear of the car comes with two 27L saddle boxes and a 48L rear trunk for easy access to the essentials of a long journey.
It also features four 10.25-inch TFT color circular gauges with three riding modes, standard traction control (adjustable), dynamic cruise control DCC, engine control (MSR), reverse gear and hill hold control, and optional active cruise control (ACC). With side boxes and Marshall Amplification's sound system, it is full of technology.
In terms of power, it is equipped with an 1802cc boxer engine, with a maximum horsepower of 91 hp and a maximum torque of 158 Nm, matching the six-speed constant mesh transmission and a single-piece anti-jump dry clutch, and the ACC active cruise system can also be optional in the electronic control part. It is also equipped with a larger 24L fuel tank, designed for long rides.
At present, the new BMW R 18 Bagger and the new BMW R 18 Transcontinental have opened pre-sale, with a total of three models launched, with a price range of 365,000 to 445,000. For which are standard and which are optional, it is yet to be further announced by BMW officials.
