The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wilderness was officially announced in 2019. At the E3 2021 show, Nintendo officially announced the first trailer for this game, but in the promotion, the official name has always been "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wilderness Sequel", which is Nintendo's creative considerations, because the real name of the game will "let the player grasp a little clue to the events in the game".
