Today is December 13th,
It is the National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre.
Today, in the name of the nation,
Pay tribute to 300,000 compatriots who died.

Majestic Jinling, mighty river,
Bell Mountain flower rain, thousands of autumn fragrance.
1937, evil descended from heaven,
One two one three, the ancient city fell.
Invading China, plundering and burning,
Corpses were strewn across the wilderness, and blood stained the Yangtze River.
More than 300,000 people, lives are ruined,
Six weeks of purgatory, mourning the death of the nation.
Although the smoke of gunfire is gone, the shame of the country and the people should not be forgotten. On February 27, 2014, the Seventh Session of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress of China passed a decision to designate December 13 of each year as the National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre.
Today is the 8th National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre,
Today is the 84th anniversary of the compatriots who died in the Nanjing Massacre.
Today is the eternal national martyrdom of our country and nation.
Today, let us remember history and do not forget the national martyrdom!
In December 1937,
The Japanese invasion of China captured Nanjing, which began to last for six weeks.
A massacre of more than forty days.
More than 300,000 Chinese were killed by the Japanese army.
About 20,000 Chinese women were raped by the Japanese army,
One-third of the city of Nanjing was set on fire by the Japanese army,
Property damage is countless...
The water of the Qinhuai River was stained red, and the once prosperous Jinling City,
Overnight it became a "suffocating hell."
84 years ago today, Nanjing is experiencing a "catastrophe for mankind".
This history must not be forgotten!
They survived that terrible massacre,
Everyone carries the memory of blood and tears.
Nowadays, most of them are old,
Even death.
The Witnesses are withering away,
But the truth should never sink!
These names must not be forgotten!
December 13, 1937,
That day was the iron shoe of the invading Japanese army entering Nanjing,
That day was the darkest page in the history of human civilization!
300,000 beings, flesh and blood compatriots!
And so it solidifies into a string of names,
Carved on the wall of history.
Zhong Shan wept, Qin Huai wept blood!
Alarm bells ring out, stop and mourn!
Today, the national anthem is played, and the flag under the national flag is half-mast;
Today, the air defense siren is raised, and the city's cars and ships stop moving;
Today, every compatriot of the Chinese nation stops and observes silence...
For 300,000 in the Nanjing Massacre,
The unfortunate compatriots who died prayed for blessings and peace.
Allow the white bone to fall asleep
Let the wronged souls sleep peacefully
Turn the butcher knife into a warning bell
Engrave the deceased name as a historical record
We can't forget Nanjing in 1937,
It is to guard the truth of history,
It is to protect a more prosperous motherland!
This period of history, linked to your and my past and future, the pain and indomitable struggle experienced will always remind us: this is strong, hard-won, this peace, hard-won.
National Day of Public Worship,
It's a reminder, it's a police policy,
It is also an aspiration for broader peace.
Today, no matter where you are, remember:
In the name of the nation, to honor every noble life;
With reverence, pray for everyone to live in peace.
Remembering history, cherishing peace,
Revitalize China, my generation self-reliance!
There is no regret in this life, and I will do Chinese in the next life!
