It is regrettable that our army actually sacrificed a senior general in the Liaoshen Campaign, and he was Zhu Rui, commander of the Dongye Artillery Corps.
Perhaps everyone heard of this name for the first time, but in the army he is an old senior, or the founder of the PLA artillery unit.
In 1905, Zhu Rui was born in Longhe Town, Suqian, Jiangsu Province, which is considered to be the family of Shuxiang Mendi, when he was 8 years old, his father died, and his family was robbed by bandits, resulting in the burning of the house, and his mother could only take him to move to Qixu, Buzi and other places, in the middle school era, because of participating in the youth progress organization strike, Zhu Rui was expelled from the school, and at that time he also drew up a proposition to scold the warlord.
In 1924, Zhu Rui was admitted to Guangdong University and joined the Youth League, and a year later he rushed to the Soviet Union to study at the Artillery School, and after returning from his studies, Zhu Rui officially threw himself into the revolution and joined the Communist Party
At that time, he was also responsible for creating guerrilla groups in many places, opening schools for military and political cadres, and cultivating a large number of talents for the rear area.
By 1939, Zhu Rui was promoted to political commissar of the First Column of the Eighth Route Army, and together with commander Xu Xiangqian was responsible for commanding the Eighth Route Army troops in Shandong and northern Jiangsu.
In fact, since the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zhu Rui has already planned to start building up our army's artillery corps, but the Kuomintang has no way to build a cannon, let alone the Eighth Route Army. Zhu Rui thought of a stupid method, he began to order his men to go to the major areas to find discarded materials, not even a rusty iron nail, as long as he knew where there were Japanese, he would go where, and over time, he really accumulated a lot of equipment.
In order to speed up the formation of artillery units, Zhu Rui also created an artillery school, but at that time, the recruits were illiterate and could only start from the most basic beginning, it is worth mentioning that by May 1946, our army had collected and repaired more than 700 artillery pieces, 500,000 shells, and dozens of tanks and cars.
As the founder of the artillery unit, Zhu Rui was already the commander of the artillery of the Northeast Field Army in 1948, he could have worked in the rear, but he still insisted on going to the front, and also took the initiative to ask Chairman Mao for war, Chairman Mao refused, he said that as long as he could go to the battlefield and demote, it did not matter, seeing the attitude of the old subordinates, the chairman could only agree.
In 1948, in the battle to attack Zhiyi County, the PLA soldiers captured the American howitzer for the first time, Commander Zhu Rui was excited as soon as he heard the news, and before the battle was over, he walked out of the command post and personally went to the front line, but he did not expect to touch the mine and was killed, only 43 years old.
Only one year away from the founding of New China, so many years of guns and bullets have come over, but only sacrificed on the battlefield, as a commander, could have been in the rear, but still chose to go to the front, this old revolutionary is really admirable, and later in order to commemorate him, the central government specially changed the Northeast Artillery School into the Zhu Rui Artillery School.
Finally, the story of Commander Zhu Rui's wife Chen Ruoke, in the late autumn of 1941, the Japanese frantically swept through the Yimeng Mountains, because the troops wanted to break through the mountain in batches, so the families of the sub-bureau organs were divided into two roads, Chen Ruoke was about to go north by the guards, because the pain was unbearable, Chen Ruoke's speed was quite slow, resulting in a sudden loss of contact with the breakthrough team, and when the next day dawned, she finally could not support it, let the guards go to the nearby village to find her mother Wang Yu, did not wait for the guards to return, Chen Ruoke gave birth to a child.
At that time, the weather was extremely cold, she took off the coat sent by the dry lady and wrapped up her newborn daughter, but she did not expect that later the ghosts searched the mountain and found her and took her away.
The Japanese instinctively felt that this woman was not small, because she did not want to eat, asked her not to speak, simply tied her up with wire, locked in a dark room, day and night, Chen Ruoke did not drip water, at that time Yishui City Gendarmerie Headquarters called to interrogate Chen Ruoke, so the groom tied Chen Ruoke's hands and feet to the saddle, and the baby was forced into the horse material bag.
The baby was pierced by the horse grass and cried bitterly until the voice was hoarse, Chen Ruoke looked in the eyes, the pain was in her heart, but even if her heart was colic, she still did not shed a tear in front of the Japanese, until she was escorted into the Japanese gendarmerie command, Chen Ruoke still threw a voice: If you want to kill, kill, my husband and I are all anti-Japanese.
After a few days of torture, Chen Ruoke's body had long been stained red with blood, she dragged her scarred body, grabbed her daughter, bit her finger, and murmured: "Child, you did not drink a mouthful of your mother's milk when you came to this world, today we leave this world together, you will suck your mother's blood!" ”
On November 7, 1941, Chen Ruoke and his newborn child were heroically righteous, at the age of 22.
