Whenever the issue of Zhu Rui's title is mentioned on the Internet, 36 military experts will be used to talk about things. Admittedly, the assessment of military personnel is basically based on the baseline of generals, as evidenced by the objective fact that no admiral is on the 36-man list. Netizens believe that If Zhu Rui is not included in the list of 36 military experts, it is difficult to evaluate him as a major general.

However, this statement also has limitations. The senior generals of our army who are not on the list of 36 military experts are also called military experts in the eulogy, and Wang Zhen, Yang Dezhi, Yang Chengwu, Hong Xuezhi, Xiao Ke and other founding generals all belong to this situation.

Xu Guangda was the father of China's armored forces, and in the early days of the Liberation War, he served as the commander of the 3rd Column of the Jinsui Field Army, which was the same rank as the artillery commander of the Northeast Democratic Coalition Army appointed by Zhu Rui.
