On August 15, 2020, defendant Lin X sold his "Peace Elite" game account to the victim Huang X for 29,800 yuan through the trading cat APP, and after the transaction was completed, Huang X changed the secret protection mobile phone and game information, and recharged the account with 7934.60 yuan of coupons. On November 20 of the same year, defendant Lin Moumou used the identity of the number owner to steal the game account back by submitting his registered name, ID card number, and historical login password to Tencent, changed the secret mobile phone number, and then sold the game account to others for 15,000 yuan through the "Tao Mobile Game APP". After the incident, defendant Lin X took the initiative to surrender himself to the public security organs and returned a total of 41,800 yuan in economic losses to the victims, obtaining the victim's forgiveness.

After the theft case was filed on November 26, after review, the defendant had no objection to the facts of the crime, charges and sentencing recommendation alleged by the public prosecution, and voluntarily signed a plea affidavit during the review and prosecution stage, which was in line with the application of expedited procedures for trial. Taking into account also that the defendant's family lived in Jiangxi, in order to reduce the number of inter-provincial trips during the epidemic period, when the indictment was served on the same day, the judge in charge of the case explained to the defendant the rights and obligations of the plea and acceptance of punishment and expedited procedures in accordance with the law, and after obtaining the defendant's consent, decided that the case would be tried on the same day as the expedited procedure was applied. After the trial begins, the judge simplifies the courtroom investigation and court debate procedures in accordance with law, and pronounces the judgment in court after fully hearing the defender's opinions and the defendant's final statement.
