The Tuien Order was proposed by the main father, and Emperor Wu of Han was the specific decision-maker. So what is the specific content of the Tuien Order? The original text of the "History" and "Book of Han" is longer, so I will briefly talk about the general idea. First of all, each prince of the Western Han Dynasty had his own title, land, glory and wealth, and then after they died, there would be an heir who would inherit all the titles, land, glory and wealth of the original princes.
As soon as the Tuien Decree came out, the titles, land, glory and wealth of these princes were distributed to the other sons of the princes, which led to the disintegration of the original huge princely states into several small princely states. In the past, the cutting of the domain was often cut from external pressure, such as the excuse that the princes had made mistakes, and then scraped some of the land of the princely states. And Tuien ling cut the domain directly do not want your land, but divide your land piece by piece. Although the land is still a princely state, more and more people are managing the land.
2. In the past, cutting the domain was to do subtraction, and pushing the grace to make the cutting of the domain was to do the opening square
In the past, the cutting of the domain was the cutting of how many counties, how many lands, and little by little. This is to do subtraction, and when you encounter a prince with a bad temper, you will rebel. For example, the Rebellion of the Seven Kingdoms of Wu and Chu during the Jing Emperor's period! And now the Tui En Order is to open the square, the land after the opening is the son of the princes, if the princes want to rebel, their sons will press the princes down.
3. It doesn't cost a single soldier
I think this is the most clever place, after Emperor Wudi of Han used the Tuien Order, he solved the problem of the tail of the princes without spending a single soldier. After all, this edict of grace was transformed from the original contradiction between the princely states and the central government into the contradictions within the princely states themselves.
4. The princes could not refuse
There is also a clever point in this edict of grace, that is, the princes cannot refuse, and if they do, their sons will oppose. Then Emperor Wu of Han could also earn a good reputation for the prince Renzheng.
Three: The effect of the Tui En Order and how to crack it?
As soon as the push order came out, the effect was very good. The history books record that many of the huge princely states disappeared, and then the power of the princes also weakened a lot. To take a very tragic example, Liu Sheng, the King of Zhongshan Jing, is said to have had 120 children, so his Zhongshan kingdom should be divided into at least 120 parts. Therefore, one of his descendants, Liu Bei, had to live on mat weavers.
So how to crack the Tuien Order?
I think there are two better ways to do this.
One is to maintain family planning, resolutely give birth to one so that the princely states can be very completely preserved. But many princes did not dare to try this method, after all, the survival rate of infants in ancient times was too low, and it was easy to feed them.
The other was to brainwash all his children so that they would not compete with the princes for land. But no son is willing to do this, after all, his own interests still have to be fought for.
Therefore, this push order is the first Yang conspiracy in eternity!
