On December 8, 2021, the Beijing Cultural and Expo Exchange Center (Beijing Zhihua Temple Management Office) and Beijing University of Technology jointly carried out the project of "Research on The Information Collection and Simulation Restoration of Ming Dynasty Color Paintings in Zhihua Temple", which achieved a series of important achievements in filling the gap in China. With the research on information collection and simulation restoration as the core content, this project analyzes the craft characteristics of the eight color paintings, conducts a comprehensive study and display of the Architectural Paintings of the Ming Dynasty of Zhihua Temple, conducts a new exploration of the protection, restoration, display and research of architectural color painting heritage, promotes the integration and progress of modern science and technology and traditional crafts in the field of heritage protection, and provides assistance for the protection of architectural heritage in the new era.
