This is a Wuhan company founded in 2017, Liao Peng and we introduced that the company was founded by him and his classmates, this classmate is not simple, he was a doctoral student in the School of Materials Science and Technology of South China University of Technology, and then studied in Finland to engage in the research and development of dental resin materials, and after returning to China, he founded this material company together, focusing on the research and development and production of photosensitive resins.

Resource Library: Why did you choose to enter the market of LCD photosensitive resins?

Liao Peng: Very early in the attention to 3D printing, but also has been looking for a breakthrough to enter, from the development of these years, lcd light curing market prospects should be the largest, it is a product for the public, with the equipment price is getting lower and lower, sales are getting higher and higher, the market can certainly be bigger and bigger, then with the equipment, is not the need for the corresponding resin materials. When we entered the market, there was no ideal, civilian LCD resin on the market, and this was the opportunity we saw, so we decided to enter.

Resource Library: What are the company's main products at present? Are there any advantages?

Liao Peng: We mainly do LCD engineering resin research and development and production, "high quality and low price" is the principle that Wuhan Jiayi (JAYI) has always adhered to, we want to make a resin that everyone can afford in terms of price, and the quality can reach the engineering level. At present, we have successfully developed several resins, high hardness, high toughness and low odor. If you say advantages, then I think the ability to iterate in material research and development can be counted as one, because our partners themselves are technical backbones, and also open cooperation with many top universities and scientific research institutions in China, we always believe that only continuous innovation can have good materials.

Resource Library: What is the current positioning of the company for itself? What about the future direction?

Liao Peng: Photosensitive resin materials this piece is the entry point, this we definitely hope to be able to do well, the goal is to become a well-known supplier of light-curing resin materials in China, this is the general direction; on this basis, I also hope to do some auxiliary things, such as printing services, if you can open up equipment + materials later, you will have the opportunity to better serve terminal enterprises, which is a long way to go.

3D printing technology is really recognized by everyone in China, but only 8 years, relatively speaking, 3D printing is still a hot new technology, and there are still many areas waiting to be reclaimed. Many companies like Wuhan Jiayi, which have their own R & D capabilities and technical backgrounds, have the opportunity to make some achievements in their own areas of expertise, and we also hope to see more fresh blood flowing into the 3D printing industry, so that there is vitality, innovation and progress.
