"Love Before dawn breaks": too far away and too close

author:Buttered shortbread

I think people like a movie, there are only two things: too far or too close. For "Before Sunrise," I think I chose too far and too close.

"Love Before dawn breaks": too far away and too close

The movie to be mentioned is already very "old". "Love Before dawn" was released almost 20 years ago, when I was 3 years old, and the time was really far away. When I saw this film nearly 20 years later, I didn't feel the slightest sense of distance because of the difference in the times. The dialogue is still timely and real, and the scene also inherits the characteristics of parisian alleys and rainy silkiness, not only do you not feel strange, but on the contrary, there will be a sense of familiarity, which is disconnected and connected, like the melancholy that rises on every foggy rainy night.

The story begins with a train trip in which young Jesse, an American, meets Selena, a French schoolgirl, on the train and has a great conversation. When the train arrived in Vienna, Jesse graciously invited Selina to join him on a tour of Vienna, even though Jesse was leaving by plane the next day.

Selena

Falling in love with Jesse at first sight, Selina accepts Jesse's invitation. While touring the city, they talked about each other's past and their feelings about life, and the understanding between the two became more and more profound. The couple cherished this wonderful evening and agreed to see each other in half a year.

Judging from the story description alone, it seems that this film may not necessarily have the general romantic love film: a story that takes place within 24 hours, a film that relies heavily on dialogue and even seems to have a bit of a "talkative" temperament, but it distinguishes it from the general romantic story of mountain alliance and sea oath and spanning half a life. And that's why it's loved by countless people.

Needless to say, the credits of the lead actors Ethan Hawke and Julie Dellby are not to mention, the handsome men and women with a rich literary atmosphere, the rich romantic atmosphere of Vienna, no matter how "talkative", it still leads you to a beautiful place that is only in the distant imagination of many people.

Yes, it's too far away: on the streets of a foreign country, meet a lilac-like girl and have an unforgettable love affair with her.

There happened to be a similar story around me, and I decided to tell it. And the film, it's there, you can watch it or feel it, and I decided not to bother you more.

The boys are from Romania and the girls are from China, and they meet in a volunteer teaching program. In August, Tanabata, the boy confessed to the girl with a straw ring ring made by the student, and this day was 3 days before they were separated; the girl hesitated for a long time, just as Selena promised Jesse on the train to Vienna, and before that they did not know each other's intentions, but only vague speculation.

The beauty of the story lies in this, sometimes you feel out of reach, simply fantasy, but it will happen to you, and even come to you.

"Love Before dawn breaks": too far away and too close

Everyone has a moment of "love before dawn", maybe it doesn't look as romantic as it does in the movies because we're too close and in it, but we're happy. In the distance of others, we cannot reach that far, and we do not need to reach that far.
