May 18, 2024 is the 48th International Museum Day, and this year's theme is "Museums Committed to Education and Research". Focusing on the theme of the event, the Xingyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports organized the Xingyang Museum to carry out a series of activities to focus on the new achievements of the development of the city's cultural and museum undertakings, extend the dimension of museum education and research, and further build a bridge between the museum and the public. With the rapid development of cities, how can the public "see the mountains, see the water, and remember the nostalgia"? Xingyang Museum specially selected the representative paintings of Yang Weihe, a member of the Henan Artists Association, reflecting the scenery and folk customs of Xingyang, showing the public a picture full of local charm and fireworks in the world, and quietly telling the poetry and beauty in nature, countryside and still life.
At the same time, this exhibition exhibits a group of Sui celadon masterpieces created by Mr. Yang Weihe, with delicate fetal quality, rich glaze and subtle weight, which fully highlights the artistic characteristics of Xingyang Sui Dynasty celadon "majestic town ancient and modern, majestic and famous in the world".

"Zhixing Academy

In order to better promote and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of young people, at 9 a.m. on May 18, a pot throwing and Sui celadon intangible cultural heritage skills experience activity with the theme of "History Accompanies Me and Intangible Cultural Heritage in Inheritance" will be held in Xingyang Museum.
