The design concept starts from different novel fabrics, selects neon lights, bionic flowers, iron chains, mecha, Chinese decorative elements and other imagery, interprets with superb knitting technology, integrates infinite expectations for the future into the design, and shows the aesthetic illusion of time and space overlapping.
DJFL's Spring/Summer 2022 collection is inspired by the short film collection "Love ▪ Death ▪ Robot", the imagination and strange style of the short film have aroused strong resonance among the designers, as if pushing open the door to a different-color world, DJFL transforms the language of clothing, using materials, silhouettes and cuts to tell the issues of nature, love and death in the contemporary technological society. "Black Angel" wanders through the city, falling in the sunset, and her feathers are scattered with it – the visual expression of the movie "Dream Traveler" is the starting point of HAI STUDIO's Spring/Summer 2022 series "Gently Forceful". The feather element in the film is a metaphor for freedom, but also carries the designer's thinking on the power of women: touching the world with gentleness and lightness, but with involuntary tenacity and independence.
HBEH's Spring/Summer 2022 collection, titled "Interstellar Time Warp", inspired by the film Interstellar, "Dare to take risks and explore the unknown" is the message conveyed by the film and the brand's current development path. By extracting the film's science fiction genes, the designer uses a large number of geometric elements to create asymmetrical visual effects, and shows the rich layers of series fashion through a variety of design techniques, the mixed collision between silhouettes and materials, the color contrast between fabrics and colors, the three-dimensional shape of the neckline, sleeves and shoulders, showing a distinct sense of space futurism. Through "Interstellar", the designers also realized that they could actually rethink the direction of the brand from a completely different perspective, even the five-dimensional space design that others had never imagined.
People are always immersed in remembrance and project hopes for the future, and "the present" becomes an interlude that is too late to play. The YINGPEI STUDIO 22SS collection is inspired by the designer's gaze on his own emotions, just as the director recorded a travel meal in the movie "Notes • Journal • Sketches Diaries Notes and Sketches", a brief adventure, an absurd emergency, a swift critter, a leaf that is bent over... These fleeting footages make every viewer feel the flow of time, and the photographer's stereoscopic perspective coincides with the designer's exploration. In the 22SS series, the yarn fabric is introduced, adding a hazy effect to the vision, externalizing the hidden emotions of women while covering a layer of "filters" that want to rest, making people want to find out more. The decorative buttons of different textures trace the quiet passage of time, and through the combination of multiple fabrics, they depict an attitude that reminisces about the past but cherishes the present.
