Hangzhou, December 8 (Zhang Yuhuan, Huang Lingyi) On the 8th, Zhejiang held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and Yu Xinle, deputy director of the Office of the Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control of Zhejiang Province and deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission, introduced that since December 5, as of 15:00 on the 8th, 41 cases of positive infection have been reported in Ningbo, Shaoxing and Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, and 1543 close contacts have been screened in Zhejiang Province, and 124807 people have been included in isolation and control.

The 41 cases of positive infection reported this time include 12 confirmed cases, 13 asymptomatic infected people, and 16 cases with positive initial screening. Among them, Ningbo Zhenhai has reported a cumulative total of 8 confirmed cases, 5 asymptomatic infected people and 5 cases of positive initial screening; Shaoxing Shangyu has reported 2 confirmed cases, 5 asymptomatic infected people and 11 cases of positive initial screening; Hangzhou has cumulatively reported 2 confirmed cases and 3 asymptomatic infected people.

Zhejiang Province has cumulatively checked 1543 close contacts and 8429 sub-close contacts, all of which have implemented control measures; Zhejiang Province has cumulatively included 124807 people in isolation and control, including 14612 people in centralized isolation, 4571 people under home health observation, and 105624 daily health monitoring. In addition, there are no new medium- and high-risk areas in Zhejiang Province except for the 5 medium-risk areas notified on the evening of the 7th.
