Gaoyuan Village, Anren County: The street lights are on, and the world in the mountains is no longer "black"

Recently, Zhong Rongzan, a villager in the temple group of Gaoyuan Village, Jinzixian Town, Anren County, said happily when he saw the newly installed street lamps.

CcB Chenzhou Branch's Rural Revitalization Team in Gaoyuan Village installed 160 solar street lights for the village.

Gaoyuan Village, Jinzixian Town, Anren County, is a typical remote poor mountain village locked in the deep mountains, located in the southeast corner of Anren, "one foot on four counties", east of Yanling, south of Zixing, west of Yongxing, the average altitude of more than 800m, the mountain slope is steep, the road is narrow and curved, the traffic is quite backward, is one of the only three villages in Anren that do not have buses. The village covers an area of 25 square kilometers, with 15 villager groups, 470 households, 1763 people, and sparsely inhabited. Although 40 street lights have been installed before, there are still many villager groups without street lights, and the village roads and mountain roads are dark at night, and it is extremely inconvenient for villagers to travel at night.

The Rural Revitalization Task Force of the Chenzhou Branch of CCB in Gaoyuan Village learned of the villagers' "urgent difficulties and anxieties" for the installation of street lamps, took this matter to heart, and resolved to solve this problem. In October 2021, the team in the village took the opportunity of implementing the rural revitalization human settlement environment improvement project to take the village lighting as one of the important contents, and began the lighting and shortening project, and 160 new solar street lights were installed in the village, realizing that there were street lights on the main road of the group and the villagers' residential areas, benefiting about 400 households.

Bright street lights lit up the night sky of GaoyuanShan Village, which greatly facilitated the villagers' night travel; it also illuminated the feelings of the village-based team for the people and warmed the hearts of the villagers. Now that the village is brighter, the people's hearts are warmer, and the task force officers are more down-to-earth, we will further focus on the villagers' "urgent difficulties and anxieties", solidly promote my practical activities for the masses, and help rural revitalization.
