About the Author
Lin Yutang (1895-1976), a native of Longxi, Fujian. He is a famous scholar, writer and linguist in contemporary China. In his early years, he studied abroad, taught at Peking University and other famous universities after returning to China, and settled in Taiwan in 1966, where he wrote a lot of works in his lifetime. Representative works include "Zhai Fu Ji", "Jinghua Smoke Cloud", "The Wisdom of Confucius" and so on.
