In 1894 Marie first met her husband, Pierre Curie.

At that time, Kobarski came to Paris for a holiday, heard that Mary was in Paris, so he casually came to visit Mary.
When Mary received the message, she was already excited, after all, it was rare to meet a person from her hometown in Paris, let alone a scholar with such a high reputation. It excites Mary even more.
That night, Mary and Kobarski had a good conversation, and after some daily life, they talked about the problem of steel magnetism that Mary had recently studied, and when Mary proposed that she had encountered research problems and research sites, Kobalski recommended a person to Mary.
That man was Pierre Curie, who was already famous in Paris at the time. He is the inventor of the Curie scale, and has a lot of fame at the age of 35. He is also the laboratory director of the School of Physics and Chemistry in Paris.
Maybe he might lend some of the lab to Mary for experiments.
So Kobarski invited Pierre to meet and let Mary get to know each other.
At the first meeting, he showed affection for Mary, and after the first meeting, he invited Mary to meet her next time.
Mary readily agreed, as the two had similar views on issues such as science and society. There are more common languages.
After that, Pierre often visited Marie's school, and the two of them gradually became good friends, and Pierre often mentioned his research and dreams to Marie, and it was not long before he proposed to Marie that he hoped to live with Marie and pursue the dream of science.
But at that time, Mary did not immediately agree, but hesitated, if Marie agreed to Pierre's marriage proposal, she would have to stay in Paris, and had to leave her hometown forever, but her father in Warsaw, Poland, had been looking forward to her return.
So Marie did not promise Pierre, during the holidays, Marie returned to her hometown of Poland, before leaving Mary did not think of plans to return to Paris, but in the autumn of that year, Mary because she had to write a doctoral dissertation, so she returned to the University of Paris, into a physics laboratory of the university to do experimental research.
In the laboratory, Marie met Pierre again, and the two became more intimately in contact for scientific reasons, until both felt that they could no longer find a more suitable life partner without each other, and the two finally decided to get married, and they were married in July 1895.
Their wedding was very simple, and they did not use exclusive dresses and etiquette like others, but simply invited some relatives and friends, and to Mary's surprise and surprise, her father and second sister also rushed from her hometown of Poland to attend her wedding.
The two of them only have two bicycles for their usual long-distance travel.
Since Pierre Curie was already a well-known physicist at home and abroad at that time, Marie was also known as Marie Curie.
