Submitting an application to join the party in 1950 and becoming a member of the Communist Party in 1951, 70 years of party age is not a simple numerical superposition for Wang Jianmin. "At that time, I joined the party because I wanted to work better and serve the people better." Regarding the original intention of joining the party, Wang Jianmin said that at that time, he remembered the poor people in the village, and the Communist Party was to let the people get rid of poverty, serve the people, and live a good life.
On November 28, in Xixiang Village, Wutun Subdistrict, Yanliang District, the loudspeaker at the entrance of the village was publicizing and interpreting the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and several uncles carried benches and sat in front of their homes listening with relish.
At the mouth of the village is a large lush forest of cypress and bamboo, which is said to have been planted by Wang Jianmin in his own land more than a decade ago.
