In October 2021, the import and export volume of aquatic products in China increased together

　Recently, the General Administration of Customs released a monthly report on statistics for October. From the data point of view, china's aquatic products import and export volume increased in October.

　　According to the data, the import volume of aquatic products in October was 290,000 tons, an increase of 12.1% year-on-year; the import amount was about 8.637 billion yuan, an increase of 31.9% year-on-year. The export volume was 340,000 tons, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year; the export value was about 12.971 billion yuan, an increase of 17.9% year-on-year.

　　Judging from the data, the vast majority of imported and exported aquatic products are edible aquatic products, and the import and export volume of edible aquatic products has also increased. In October, the import volume of edible aquatic products was 290,000 tons, an increase of 12.1% year-on-year; the import amount was about 8.592 billion yuan, an increase of 31.8% year-on-year. Exports were 340,000 tons, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year; the export value was about 12.955 billion yuan, an increase of 18.0% year-on-year.

　　Among edible aquatic products, frozen fish in sub-categories has decreased and increased in imports. According to the data, in October, the import volume of frozen fish was 120,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.9%; the import amount was about 1.986 billion yuan, an increase of 12.4% year-on-year.
