Later, I bought a 10T MyBook from Western Digital and used the computer to make backups from time to time, and my sense of security rose a lot. Although Tieweima later launched "USB COPY" in the application center, it does not support my external mobile hard disk, so each backup is still a little troublesome.

After 4 years of use, the remaining capacity of the NAS hard disk has been less than 2T, which is the double eleven, thinking that it can upgrade the equipment as much as possible in the case of saving costs, so it has studied it.
This time the appeal is very simple, 4 bays, add 2 pieces of Western Digital 4T red disk, take out the original hard disk to use together, and can solve the following problems:
1. Read compatibility of large-capacity removable hard disk: can identify my 10T backup disk
2. Stability during continuous data transmission: If the current Tieweima logs in to the operation interface with the web version when the data is backed up, it is highly likely to be stuck
3, high computing power chip: in view of the current J1800 2.4GHz chip, before the installation of Plex multimedia management, really can not move, and when running NAS will appear obvious noise.
Studied a variety of reviews, Synology cost-effective is too low (in fact, mainly their own reasons, haha), and the cost of feature-rich learning is particularly high, for scum like me, PASS. The evaluation of QNAP is not very good, the appearance of the machine is really not too cold, the appearance of the association PASS. The price of the Tieweima F4-221 is OK, and the chip has improved compared with the 220, and there is some hesitation. There is also a domestic new brand pole space, two-level differentiation of evaluation and comments a lot, but look at the machine looks very modern, a little interesting, alternative. There is also Lenovo X1, 5 plates, the color is very modern fan, but the heart is not very acceptable to this brand, PASS.
In this way, I compared it between the IronWing Horse F4-221 and the Polar Space Z4:
1, the price: one 1819 yuan, one 2099 yuan, the difference is not much;

5, APP function: Tieweima's APP, the interface is simple, but the function is also very small, only file management and mobile phone photo album backup; the APP of the extreme space, before purchasing the application for a deep test account, the basic functions are not bad, somewhat similar to the App of Baidu Cloud

The system upgrade is self-talking, the night I imported the data from the backup disk, the system updated the version at 3:00 a.m. and restarted, and then the data import was forced to be interrupted, and then looked for a long time in the APP to find the upgrade settings, the default option is "When there is a new version of the system or service, the system will choose to upgrade automatically when the device load is low." ”...... Without knowing how to be judged that the copy data is "low load", no system will silently upgrade without any action by default administrator without any prompt.

In view of the above situation, the more critical data is temporarily placed in the old Tieweima (using 2 Mac disassembly hard disks), and then a map is made with polar space.
So to sum up, for no complex use scenarios, just to save video / mobile phone backup / remote access, the polar space is not bad. If you want to have multi-account management, high system security requirements, team management and multi-person collaboration, etc., or buy mature products on the market (Synology/ Wei Unicom / Tieweima, etc.).
