Recently, the County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital launched a public welfare project sponsored by the China Dental Prevention and Control Foundation in the first kindergarten in the county: Baby Plan - Zero Tooth Decay Kindergarten Activity. The stomatology department of the hospital distributes informed consent forms, oral health questionnaires, oral examinations, feedback notices, fluoride application notices and other materials to the children's families in the early stage, and summarizes them. On 11 November, 32 eligible kindergarten children were given free fluoride. The children were all elated, the atmosphere was lively, and the children were completed with fluoride. The fluoride application process uses a disposable oral examination instrument box to strictly eliminate cross-infection.
Through this survey, the carious rate of children's teeth is close to 50%, which is far from our goal of zero tooth decay. It is hoped that through children's oral education and feedback to parents, oral health can be established to focus on prevention, combine prevention and treatment, and achieve early prevention, early detection, early inspection, and early intervention of oral health management concept. Establish a prevention system in which society, the government, medical institutions, families, and campuses participate together, and build a great wall of health for the oral health prevention cause of the population in our county.
