Plato on the soul

The soul has experienced everything, so as long as he recalls one thing, that is, what people call learning one thing, he cannot help but discover everything else, as long as he is brave and unremitting in study, because study and learning are nothing more than memories.

As long as the vision of one thing gives you the perception of another thing, whether similar or not, it must be a memory.

Plato on the soul

Everything that belongs to the soul, under wise guidance, leads to happiness, and under the guidance of ignorance it is counterproductive.

Happiness is incredibly linked to its opposite pain.

Life is like being in prison, you can't escape from prison by yourself.

Plato on the soul

As long as we have a form and the soul is burdened by the form, we cannot fully attain the truth as we wish.

Form is our constant need to survive, and diseases prevent us from exploring reality.

Form fills us with feelings, desires, fears, and illusions and delusions that make it impossible for us to think.

The only cause of war, revolution and strife is the flesh and its various desires, for which we are forced to make money.

Plato on the soul

If we want to acquire pure knowledge of something, we must get rid of the body and take care of the object itself with the soul alone.

In our lifetime, we can only get as close to knowledge as possible, unaffected by the nature of the flesh, and be purely alone with ourselves until finally God liberates us.

When the soul is aware of itself alone, it enters into the pure, eternal, immortal, unchanging realm, and based on its own spirituality, it is eternally with those unchanging qualities, always one, eternally unchanging.
