Xiangtan Online, November 8 (Xiangtan Daily All-Media Reporter Gu Orange) Recently, the Municipal Museum received a precious gift, which is a seal with the word "Manyong" written on it, which is a name seal engraved for Qi Baishi, and the donor is Yang Du's eldest grandson, Yang Youlong, the son of Le Manyong, and his wife He Zhaochen.

On October 9 this year, a text message sent by 90-year-old Yang Youlong deeply touched the staff of the Xiangtan City Museum: "I am over 90 years old, and there are not many days to come." I have a seal carved by Qi Baishi for my mother Le Manyong, and my wife and I have no intention of preserving it, and donated it to the Xiangtan City Museum for everyone to observe and study, and it can still play a role. On October 14, the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Museum went to Sanya, Hainan Province, to accept the donation of Yang Youlong and his wife.

Yang Youlong's mother, Le Manyong, was born into a famous family and was the third lady of the famous Chinese medicine store and the Lejia old medicine shop "Tongrentang" in Beijing. At the same time, Le Manyong admired and revered Yang Du's talent and knowledge, and his thinking was profoundly influenced, and he studied calligraphy with Yang Du, was good at learning and practicing, and was quite stylish. She is also good at literature and art, and she has made friends with Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong, Wu Zuoren and other people in the art world, and she has received many gifts and rich family treasures. The seal donated by Yang Youlong was carved by Qi Baishi, possibly after Yang Youlong's father Yang Gongshu married his mother Le Manyong, or after 1950. Although there is no way to verify it, the precious value of this seal is beyond doubt.

At the age of 76, Yang Youlong organized a trip to find the roots of the Yang Du family at home and abroad to worship their ancestors. At that time, he deeply felt that Yang Du's lifelong exploration of the road to saving the country and rejuvenating the country had gone through difficulties and bumps, and it was a pity that many achievements in politics, history, Buddhism, poetry, calligraphy and other aspects had been submerged. As a descendant of Yang Du, Yang Youlong felt that he should bear the responsibility of research and inheritance. Therefore, in 2010, a large granite Yangdu statue was donated in Rain Lake Park. This donation reflects his deep affection for his hometown.
