The "Lingnan Celebrity Ink Book" introduced by the author this time is a collection of poems written by Qing Daoguang twenty-five years (1845), the ninth day of the Yangcheng poetry circle at the Red Cotton Temple in Yuexiu Mountain.

It is a poem included in the "Lingnan Celebrity MyoMo Album", which was written by Liu Jiamo on the day of the Ninth Sun in the early September of the twenty-fifth year of Daoguang (1845), inviting Zhang Weiping, Chen Qikun, Huang Peifang, Bao Jun, Bao Liang, Zhu Chao, Deng Chushu, Pang Wengang, Liu Xianghua, Hou Zhifang, Zheng Xuanruo, Huang Peilin and others to ascend to the Red Cotton Temple in Yuexiu Mountain (now: Yuexiu Mountain) and sing and sing after a banquet. According to the poems in the book, the poems sung and composed by the disciples who participated in the feast were all poems written by Zhang Weiping and Huang Peifang. In addition, the poems and poems composed by some of the scholars in the book have the words "Inscribed Red Cotton Temple Ascent Chart", which proves that in addition to the poetry singing and writing, there are paintings that have survived in the world, but now they have not been found.
The author checked various collections of Huang Peifang's poems, including "Linghai Lou Poetry Banknote", "Northbound Grass", "Lishan Grass", etc., and found that it was a collection of poems written by Huang Peifang. Looking through Huang Chengqian's poetry collection "Guan Zi Yang Zhai Poetry Notes", I did not find any of Huang Chengqian's poems recorded in the volume. Looking through Bao Jun's poetry collection "Rongtang Yinguan Poetry Notes", I did not find any of Bao Jun's poems recorded in the book.
The exact location of the "Red Cotton Temple" in yuexiu mountain in history is located directly in front of the national key cultural relics protection unit "Zhenhai Lou" on Yuexiu Mountain in the downtown area of Guangzhou. There was originally an open platform in front of the temple, known as "Not Taiwan", and the temple is surrounded by red cotton, which is spectacular against the blue sky and white clouds. Due to historical reasons, the "Red Cotton Temple" was destroyed during the late Qing Dynasty, and even the last traces were lost due to the construction of the Yuexiu Mountain Stadium. In fact, in the middle and late Qing Dynasty, the "Red Cotton Temple" on Yuexiu Mountain was also flourishing, and many literati and scholars visited the scenery many times and left many poems in existence. Among them, there are Bao Jun's "Xin Jiao New Year's Day with Zhou Mengshi Wu Cibei Brother Yu Shan Yu Shan You Hongmian Temple with Huang Cang Jia Bi Jian Yuan" (included in the "Rongtang Yinguan Poetry Notes"), Huang Peifang's "Gengyin Hua Chao Jia Cang Zhao Ji Hongmian Temple to See the Kapok To Get The Flower Characters", "The Red Cotton Temple to See the Flowers reminiscent of the family Canghui " (included in the "Linghai Lou Poetry Notes") and so on.
Except for Zhu Chao, who was a Zhejiang Huijian, the rest were Cantonese, and most of them were jinshi, juren, and xiucai during the Jia DaoXian period, which can be called a literary event of a group of talents and a young xian. This album "Lingnan Celebrities Ink Miao" well reflects the grand literary activities of the Lingnan region during the Daoguang years of the Qing Dynasty, and provides a lot of useful evidence for studying the history of literary activities in the Lingnan region in the middle and late Qing Dynasty. In addition, none of the poems written by the sages recorded in the book have found any traces of being published, so this discovery is really a pearl of the sea, which makes up for the lack of history.
This set of albums was once the famous calligraphy and painting collectors in Lingnan during the Republic of China period, Ouyang Shuhong and Huang Duanwen, and the cover added the inscription of Mr. Deng Erya, a famous calligrapher and painter and collector from Dongguan, Guangdong during the Republic of China period, which is indeed a precious calligraphy collection and has extremely high literary and historical value.
