Who is "Wolbassie"?

(1743~1774) The leader of the Turbat tribe of the Erut Mongol tribes of the Qing Dynasty, the great-grandson of Ayuqi Khan. Since its relocation to the lower Volga in the 1630s, the Turks have been subjected to political oppression and economic plunder by Tsarist Russia. In the twenty-sixth year of Qianlong (1761), Wobasi succeeded to the Khan's throne, and in order to get rid of the oppression of Tsarist Russia and maintain the survival of the nation, in the winter of thirty-five years, after careful preparations, he launched an armed uprising, led more than 160,000 people, endured hardships and dangers, traveled a long way, and returned to the motherland in thirty-six years. When Woba Xi met with the general Ili, he presented to the Qing government a jade seal of the Han seal of The Eighth Year of Ming Yongle (1410) that his ancestors had received. The Qing government attached great importance to the patriotic action of returning the troops led by Wolbasi to the motherland. The Qianlong Emperor received Wobasi several times at the Rehe Palace (i.e., the Summer Resort), made him the Khan of Zhuoliktu, and ordered him to command the old Turk special department. Thirty-nine years later, Wolbassee died of illness.
