In March 1931, more than 4,000 people from all over the world attended a funeral in Tianjin. In the funeral crowd, there are celebrities, literati and inkers, as well as peddlers and pawns, and even famous prostitutes in Qinglou. Obituary was published in the Ta Kung Pao and beiyang pictorial. Everyone misses Yuan Kewen, the second son of Yuan Shikai. Why is this last-day king and grandson so beautiful, and is still listed as one of the "four princes of the Republic of China"?
Yuan Kewen, who was born with a golden key, is destined to be an extraordinary person
In 1882, Yuan Shikai was ordered to invade Korea and helped King Li Xi of Joseon to defeat the "Nongwu Mutiny" provoked by his biological father Li Yunying, and defeated the "Jiashen Coup" planned by the pro-Japanese ministers. In order to win Yuan Shikai over, Li Xi and his beloved concubine Concubine Min rewarded him with the famous Jin clan.

In 1890, Yuan Kewen was born. According to Qing regulations, officials stationed abroad were not allowed to marry local women as concubines. Yuan Shikai, in order to hide his eyes and ears, handed Yuan Kewen over to his eldest aunt Tai Shen to raise. Under the doting of shen, Yuan Kewen developed a stubborn and arrogant personality. However, he was unusually intelligent and never forgot, calling himself: "Six years old to read, seven years old to read the history of the Bible, ten years old to learn articles, fifteen years old to learn poetry, eighteen years old yin teaching law department member Wailang." ”
Yuan Jiali hired Fang Dishan, a famous scholar from Yangzhou, as a teacher. This old gentleman reversed the practice of being a teacher, and in addition to teaching the golden stone of literature, he took the young and vigorous Yuan Kewen up to the hall, went down to the brothel, befriended three religions and nine streams, and dealt with various characters. An alternative approach to education has prompted yuan kewen, who was originally wayward, to play cards even more out of line with common sense.
Along with Yuan Kewen were Zhang Xueliang, the eldest son of Zhang Zuolin, the head of the Feng clan, Zhang Boju, the son of Zhang Zhenfang, the governor of the Qing Dynasty, and Pu Dong, the son of Wang Zaizhi of the Qing Dynasty. The four were born into the elite, were charming, and were called the "four princes of the Republic of China". Yuan Kewen, who was born with a golden key, is a talented person, a light and crazy person, and is destined to be an extraordinary person.

Yuan Kewen dared to oppose the imperial system and was highly praised by the world
In 1916, Yuan Shikai, who was obsessed with power, conspired to become emperor. Because the eldest son, Yuan Keding, made a copycat version of the "Shuntian Times", Yuan Shikai was disappointed and moved the idea of "Li Xian not Standing Long" when he "li chu". In the "Imperial Costume" tailored for the sons in the "Preparatory Office of the Great Ceremony", Yuan Keding and Yuan Kewen's "Imperial Prince's Costume" are the same, and are different from other brothers. When trying on the "Royal Prince's Clothes", the "Princes" were overjoyed and took photos to commemorate the occasion. Only Yuan Kewen had a cold attitude and turned a deaf ear. In the face of the kindness conveyed by his father, Yuan Kewen was indifferent.
Although Yuan Kewen was a literati with poetry in mind, he had a clear understanding of the restoration of the imperial system. He wrote a poem "Feelings", which said: "The gap colt stays in the body to fight for a moment, the fear of the sound of dreams is more than three changes, the high place of the absolute ridge is windy and rainy, and mo goes to the top floor of the QiongLou." "Clearly state his opposition to his father's claim to the throne."

Yuan Kewen stabbed the honeycomb this time. Liu Chengyu, a member of the League, recorded in the "Hongxian Chronicle Poetry Skills Thin Note": "Ke Ding Yong is the father of the emperor, Ke Wen when he made satirical poems to show the meaning of several advice, and then was convicted of the poem "Feeling Encounter", "Ke Ding Yin sent the Lingnan poet to spy on Ke Wen's movements, and a certain report on the last two verses of "Feeling" meant to oppose the imperial system. Ke Ding Yu presented Shi Kai, placed the North Sea, and forbidden its entry and exit. He ran away overnight, with the help of his friends, to avoid disaster in Tianjin.
Bi Yihong, a talented man in Yangzhou, commented that "Feelings" "will have a place in history in the future." Scholar Tang Lusun frankly said in "Modern Cao Zi Jian Yuan Hanyun": "Ke Wen was extremely opposed to nai's father stealing the throne and changing Yuan Hongxian to yuan." Facts have proved the correctness of Yuan Kewen's political vision, and Yuan Shikai's "Hongxian Imperial System" is nothing more than a farce. With the popularity of "Feelings", Yuan Kewen's popularity has increased sharply, and there are countless fans in the circle, which has won the praise of public opinion.

Tang Jixing, then head of the Tianjin branch of the Kuomintang, was also among them. During a banquet, Yuan Kewen inadvertently noticed that his friend Tang Jixing was in danger. He stepped forward, twice relieved Tang Jixing of his troubles, and sheltered his friends into the Tianjin Japanese Concession, eventually sending him to a passenger ship bound for Shanghai.
Wu Butou, a famous scholar in the south, was hunted down and killed by Yuan Shikai's minions in Beijing because of his letter to dissuade the imperial system. Penniless, he was in danger and penniless, so he had to endure the sale of the treasure "Falling Water Orchid Pavilion" to raise funds. Yuan Kewen came across Wu Butou, who was looking for a buyer. He personally escorted Wu Butou to Tianjin, intending to send him to a steamship heading south.
When buying tickets, Yuan Kewen found that he did not bring money, so he had to borrow five yuan from the driver to save the emergency. Wu Butou was deeply grateful for this and gave the "Falling Water Lan Ting Ti" to Yuan Kewen. He said movingly: "The Falling Water Lan Ting Ti should be renamed the Five Yuan One Life Lan Ting Ti. "Yuan Kewen is the only member of the Yuan family who openly opposes the imperial system and sympathizes with the revolution, and such righteous deeds are beyond the reach of people.
