Recently, the Plum Blossom Awards Troupe of the China Drama Association presented the first performance for the opening season of the Xiqu Center in Hong Kong's West Kowloon Cultural District, which is a special performance of Peking Opera Folding Zi Opera.
At about 10 p.m., the last program, Peking Opera performance artist Pei Yanling's "Lin Chong Night Run", was about to debut, and the performance was suddenly temporarily interrupted, and Ru Guolie, executive director of performing arts of the West Kowloon Cultural District Administration, came to the stage to report a mixed news.

In 1985, before Hong Kong had returned to the motherland, Pei Yanling, as a representative of mainland artists, participated in the opening ceremony of the first Chinese Theater Festival in Hong Kong, and has since formed an indissoluble relationship with Hong Kong. After that, she came to Hong Kong over the years, and she couldn't remember how many times she came, met a lot of "Aberdeen", and accepted a lot of Hong Kong apprentices. Pei Yanling was unwell and did not speak very little when she did not appear on stage, and wanted to ask her about her fate with Hong Kong, she only said one sentence: "The story is long." I didn't expect that either. ”
Before the performance began, Xijiu Xiqu Centre actress Xiao Shan wandered outside the dressing room for a long time, and she was once a Hong Kong disciple of Pei Yanling. Xiao Shan said that she loved drama, became a Cantonese opera ticket holder at the age of ten, when she was sixteen, she met Mr. Pei by chance, and she did not graduate from middle school, so she followed her husband to Singapore to study drama, although it was only two years, but in her life, it was two years of great harvest. "She and her husband taught me together, my profession is Wu Xiaosheng, she taught me the Peking Opera "Mu Ke Zhai" and "Xiao Shang Tomb", I learned too much in those two years, I changed all my bad habits, and now I still feel very deeply."
As soon as Pei Yanling saw Xiao Shan, she called her "Xiao Zongbao", asked her about her recent situation, asked how "Xiao Baojun" was, and learned her Hong Kong Mandarin with humor, saying: "Take a call (photo)." Xiao Shan told Pei Yanling that after returning from Singapore, she was admitted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, obtained a college diploma, and is now an actor in the Tea House Rising Star Theatre Company. That night, she excitedly sent a circle of friends, writing: Seven years have not seen, still recognize me!
