Recently, China and France issued a joint statement that gave the Americans a hard shot.
The statement mainly said five points.
First of all, China and France condemn all inhumane acts that violate international law. In particular, indiscriminate attacks against civilians, as well as acts of terrorist violence.
This is to tell the Americans and Israelis that we have made it clear that we want to attack you this time, and of course, the criticism is very fair, after all, Hamas has not been guilty of terrorist violence.
Then there is the second point, which is that the heads of state of China and France oppose Israel's attack on Rafah and the forcible relocation of Palestinian civilians.
Attacking Rafah was one of Netanyahu's original tactics to attack Hamas. Its core goal is to cut off all access to outside aid in Gaza, to force the people of Gaza to surrender, or to starve them to death.
But since the Israeli army provoked Lebanon and Iran alone, this plan is no longer feasible, and the only result of a forced attack on Rafah is to kill a large number of civilians in Rafah, and there is not enough manpower to complete the siege of Gaza, which is a pure revenge action and has no strategic and tactical significance. Even Netanyahu abandoned the offensive on Rafa.
And now the Israeli military has changed its mind and wants to attack Rafah, and the reason for the attack is very simple, without any tactical and strategic planning, it simply wants to massacre civilians, and the more killed, the better.
In this case, China and France raised a joint opposition. This matter is very difficult for the Americans, maybe the Israeli military does not find it difficult, but the Americans must feel uncomfortable, support, is tantamount to putting themselves in opposition to France and China, if they do not support, then the Jewish plutocracy will not be able to sit still.
The most likely outcome is that Israel completely ignores China and France against attacking Rafah, which will make the United States even more embarrassed internationally.
The third point is to demand that Israel implement UN Security Council Resolutions 2712, 2720 and 2728 and achieve an effective ceasefire.
Of course, the Israeli army will certainly not manage its finances, but the statements of China and France represent the influence of China and half of the European Union. The last option is to relaunch the two-state solution on the basis of the 1967 borders. This is the most fatal proposition for Israel.
First, Israel wants to return the 10,000 square kilometers of territory it has occupied over the past 10 years or so, second, it has to recognize the establishment of a Palestinian state, the sovereignty and human rights of the Palestinians, and, finally, the most uncomfortable, it has to agree to Jerusalem as the common capital of the two countries.
This is a dead end for both Israel and the United States in the name of international law. Even if the Americans want to oppose it, they can't find a reason to refute it in line with human perception and international law. Even due to the influence of China and France, the Middle East region will definitely move closer to these two countries in the future.
In fact, France has recently been confronting the United States in many ways, not only reaching a consensus with China on the Middle East and Israel issues, but even reaching a consensus with Russia on African issues. Africa, especially North and West Africa, belongs to France's traditional sphere of influence, and in order to dismantle France's influence in Africa during the period when the United States was strong in the past, the Americans established many military bases in Africa. Recently, Russia and France have jointly exerted pressure on the United States in West Africa, and the United States has begun to gradually withdraw from its military bases in West Africa.
In addition, France has recently been actively negotiating with Brazil about the sale of nuclear submarines, and as we all know, South America, where Brazil is located, is the backyard of the United States, and because Brazil is politically stable and has great international influence, it is difficult for the United States to directly attack Brazil as it did with Argentina.
This gives France a lot of room to operate, and they intend to put the nuclear submarine directly in the backyard of the United States, and they are currently negotiating with Brazil about the transfer of technology related to the nuclear submarine.
Of course, there is also Europe itself, which is currently in tandem with Italy, Spain and other countries to elect a new president of the European Commission, ready to kick von der Leyen. This is a direct rebellion against the United States' control of Europe.
In Africa, the Middle East, and South America, France took advantage of the competition between the United States and China and Russia to find a way to turn Europe out of American control and back into an independent polity. Perhaps in the Russian-Ukrainian war, France and the United States are of the same mind, but apart from this incident, France and the United States are almost in a state of confrontation.
This is what makes the United States most anxious, and the confrontation with China and Russia has not yet ended, but because of its fatigue, it has attracted a new opponent, France, or half of the European Union.
