According to the official public account of Taobao Ali Auction "Ali Auction", the auction was supposed to end at 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd, but due to the fierce bidding, the auction was postponed to 12:19. The Beijing News reporter saw on the auction page that the market price of the 49 trademark exclusive rights under the name of Chengdu Tanyutou was 1 million yuan, including "Tanyutou", "Tan Zhuangyuan", "Bajiao Fishing House", "TanjiaBazi", "Tan Hong", "tanyoto" and so on. After 188 bids and 169 delays, it was finally sold for 15.1 million yuan under the bidding of 8 people, with a premium of more than 15 times.
According to the information of Tianyancha, Chengdu Tanyutou Investment Co., Ltd. was established on May 27, 1997, with a registered capital of 54.51 million yuan, and the legal representative Tan Chang'an is the major shareholder, with a shareholding ratio of about 95%. Public reports show that since 2014, Chengdu Tanyutou has been in a debt crisis, and lawsuits have continued. Due to insolvency and inability to operate, in 2016 the creditors applied for bankruptcy in Chengdu Tanyutou, and was finally ruled by the court to be liquidated. In mid-August 2020, the last Tanyutou hot pot restaurant in Chengdu closed. For the trademark being auctioned, Tan Changan told the media that he knew about it, "We will take the trademark back and continue to be a high-end brand of Tan Yutou." ”
